WHY
BROWN GIRL HEALTHCARE?
VISION
Healthcare today does not cater to (the specific needs of) Black/Brown and Indigenous Women of Color (BIWOC). We want to change that by creating a community for women of color that specializes in breaking down the health disparities that plague us today. We seek to empower women of color to be true advocates for their own health and wellness journey. By doing this we will achieve racial, gender, and ethnic health equity for women of color everywhere.
MISSION
Brown Girl Healthcare (BGH) is a social healthcare community that advocates for women of color through shared experiences, resources, access and knowledge.
Who we cater to:
Brown Girl Healthcare caters to ALL Black/Brown, Indigenous Women of Color (BIWOC). Who is ALL?
Black, Latina, Asian, South Asian, American Indian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander and Mixed-Race women, worldwide.
No matter where or who you come from, every woman of color deserves equal access, resources and opportunity to achieve their best health and wellness.
